"Study In Stripes"

I have the pleasure of exhibiting three of my works at the 2018 "America's Horse in Art" at the AQHA Hall of Fame in Amarillo, TX this Fall.  I will be showing a triptych study of the Foundation Quarter Horse Sire "Leo" in oil, graphite and bronze and each piece will be offered for sale through the Exhibition.  Funds from the sale of these pieces and subsequent
castings of the bronze will go towards the installation of a life sized tribute to "Leo" in his (and my) hometown of Perry, OK.  Leo spent most of his life and his last years on the Warren Ranch in Perry and that is where his tremendous career as a sire was realized.  It has been my life long determination to honor him and his extraordinary contribution to the Quarter Horse breed.  Bud Warren is also honored in the AQHA Hall of Fame and it is with the support of his family that I hope to make this monument possible.
